Classes for Children

Our classes are designed to create a nourishing learning environment filled with fun activities and curious exploration of body mobility, mind activity, senses and emotions through yogic postures, breathing techniques, mindfulness meditation, crafts, lively discussions, and chanting.

Each class is unique

Although our classes are carefully structured to follow the curriculum, our highly trained teachers always consider the mood and energy of the group on each given day and are able to choose most suitable practices to match the topic in focus and guide the children through each stage of the curriculum with skill and flexibility.

Children feel empowered when given an opportunity to actively contribute to the dynamic of the class, choose the type of a warmup routine, or meditation, or have a go at being a yoga teacher themselves - teach an asana from the Teacher’s Mat.

Step by step children develop vital life skills :

greater flexibility - confidence - tools for dealing with the stresses of growing up - enhanced social and environmental awareness -ability to sustain their focused attention - develop higher levels of physical and emotional resilience.

Empower
Growth

Craft activities allow children to let their minds be creative, free and relaxed.

Chanting simple yogic mantras brings warmth to children’s hearts and nourishes their sense of community.

To finish the asana (postures) practice we enjoy a variety of relaxation activities.

Each class is finished by reciting a set of positive affirmations.
