“We live in a culture of chronic inattention. With inattention we miss the meal in front of us,the changing scenery, the open-hearted connection with the world. With Mindfulness, we can awaken!”

The Mindfulness Based Living Course (MBLC) is a 9 weeks course, which consists of 1 free Introduction Session and 8 weekly Course Sessions.

Each 2 hours session will include a talk, guided meditations and groups discussions.

At the end of the Course everyone will be invited to attend a Mindfulness Practice Day. This is a valuable opportunity to consolidate the core practices learned during the course within the supportive, kind and compassionate group environment.

Taking part in the Practice Day is optional. Additional fee of £40 will apply. More information during the course.

During this course the participants will learn how to settle their mind, recognise their unique habitual thinking and behavioral patterns, and gradually develop their Mindfulness skills, which can help navigate through the experiences of daily life in a non-judgmental way with an attitude of genuine curiosity, acceptance, kindness and compassion to self and others.

Each participant will receive a copy of the course book:

Mindfulness Based Living Course by Choden and Heather Regan-Addis.

Participants will be expected to have a daily Mindfulness practice of 30-45min throughout the duration of the course.

Free Mindfulness Association App is a great source of a variety of Mindfulness Meditations, which can support the individual practice in between the course sessions.

Additional weekly zoom practice sessions will be offered to help stay on track and build Mindfulness stamina.

Mindfulness has many well researched and scientifically proven benefits, such as: reduced anxiety and stress, improved mental and physical health, increased emotional regulation, stronger relationships, and cognitive improvements.

However, in some cases (recent emotional trauma, chronic depression, bereavement, if you are receiving treatment for a known psychological condition, etc.) it will be advisable to seek your doctor’s advice on whether it is the right time for you to embark upon this course prior to signing up.

It would be most beneficial if all participants could commit to attending all course sessions.
